Who: Aidan
What: Photo shoot Outside
Where: Dublin
When: February
How: Planned dressed up. Macro lens
Why: Build my portfolio

I really like this photo of Aidan. I love how her dress is very elegant and than she is wearing work boots. I also love how the trees are blurred and the snow is more in focus. There are a couple things I would change about this photo such as her eyes being open.

Jessie

Jessie Lee came in to talk to us about her experience as a photographer. She focused on talking to us about actual photo-shoots and what she does to prepare for them. I  definitely learned a lot for her. I love her photography technique. What she is doing is pretty much where i see myself in 5 years. She does a lot of child photography and she sets up tea parties for them. I think her photography is so amazing and I am so glad I got the opportunity to learn from her.

Who:Tam Nguyen
What:Snail
Where:New England
When:2015
Why:Shallow Depth Of Field
How:Macro/Apt.

I like this photo a lot. What could improve it, is if the snail wasn't right in the center of the photo and maybe of to one of the sides or on a tree. What works in the photo is the snail being in focus and a blurry background. The colors are also working.

Ben Conant

Last week we had a visitor named Ben Conant, an editor of the Ledger Transcript come to talk to us about what he did. What I thought was most interesting about his speech was that he never planned to be a photographer or a journalist until he was older. He went to college for journalism but still had no interest in photography. This lead to getting into his career of being an editor and teaching himself photography. Well he was here he showed us some articles and pictures he took in the paper.

Who: Maya
What: Sassy
Where: Hancock NH
When: 2014
Why: Shows Innocence
How: Candid

I took this photo. I am really happy with the way it came out. It says so much about her. I also think it being in black and white makes it more dramatic. She looks so sweet and innocent with a sassy side almost.

Who: Alisha Bandeau
What: Rocks and flowers.
Where: Cali
When: 2011
Why: Bold
How: Lightroom/Photoshop

I love photos that are in black and white and have a splash a color! They are very strong photos. They also make really great backgrounds. I love this one because of the way the flowers were set up with the rocks on a stump.

Who: Siblings
What: Play
Where: New York
When: 2015
Why: Send a message
How: Set up

I love this photo. It shows children having fun being kids. There emotion happiness and silliness. The only thing i don't like about this photo is the background color. I think it should be bright and colorful because they are laughing and they are kids.
